09:30  Library visits, lunch and visit to a Māori marae (a building and space used for gatherings and meetings). The visits will be to libraries that are strong in programming for children, young people and diverse communities – including Tupu, New Zealand’s only specialist youth library.
13:45  Roundtable (brief update from MetLib member libraries)
14:45  Reflections over afternoon tea (afternoon tea sponsored by Counting Opinions)
15:15  Return to central city for self-guided visits and tours – Auckland Libraries staff will advise on options. Possibilities include cultural visits, seeing more library branches or other library sectors. This could also be a time to meet with other delegates or Auckland Libraries staff to explore topics of mutual interest, and we are happy to facilitate a visit or discussion that is of particular interest to delegates.
