MetLib 2014 registrations are being handled by The Conference Company.

The attendance cost for a delegate is NZ $750 including goods and services tax. This covers business sessions, catering, social functions and associated transport (as indicated in the programme). Please note that people attending MetLib 2014 need to book their own travel to Auckland and accommodation. Information about New Zealand as a destination and getting here is at the Tourism NZ website.

Partner joining you? Take a look at what partners may attend as part of the programme. The cost for the partner package is NZ $475 including goods and service tax. This includes the functions and associated transport indicated with an * in the programme.

IMPORTANT NOTE: there are optional satellite visits to Wellington and Christchurch after the conference. Please read the information under the heading Satellite package option to visit Wellington and Christchurch City Libraries and make your choice(s). Wellington is the world’s southern-most capital. Christchurch has a remarkable story of resilience to tell. Both public library networks are looking forward to welcoming you.

    When coming from abroad do we need to pay for GST? Or can it be reduced/refunded?

    • Sorry Barbara – I overlooked this message. GST is payable on all goods and services consumed in NZ (including the conference fees). Items purchased here for taking home can have the GST refunded. Good question – I will add a FAQ.
